I had the pleasure of enjoying a performance by Canadian violinist, Carissa Kolopoushak, at the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra recently.
A charismatic and engaging performer, Carissa’s playing has been described as the complete package of sensitive musicianship and effortless technique. SSO
She performs a variety of work. Most interesting is her work with Tyt I Tam, a cross-genre Ukranian Folk Rock band!
She tours the country participating in Chamber Groups, Orchestra’s and a wide range of music performances. Her Ottawa-based String Quartet project seems to be her newest adventure.
